Donald Trump's controversial return to the campaign trail faced yet another hurdle on Thursday, as the operators of the venue in Tulsa asked for 'a written plan' on how they would deal with the threat of coronavirus. The rally - his first since March - has been deeply problematic ever since it was announced on June 10. The original date of Friday, June 19, was switched to Saturday after uproar about the clash with Juneteenth - the annual celebration marking the end of slavery.

This is called ‘modifying the contract AFTER it is signed’ and Trump should tell them to go eff themselves
You can count on the media/dem complex doing this to EVERY Trump rally between now and election day. They have their pathetic, senile candidate locked in his basement with all the other useless odds and ends, so they want to keep Trump locked down as well. You can also count on them to work to cancel all debates to hide Biden’s senility and unfitness.
The guy who’s calling the shots here had more money than everyone else in Tulsa put together.
In fact, the BOK center is named after him in a way.
They should change the name from a Trump Rally to a Biden Protest.

This event is per a contract. Trump will sue his arce off and win. The Court has already ruled on the event.
Just hold it outside as a protest and all will be well.
Normally I would agree, greed trumps (no pun intended) almost everything, but I feel we have reached the point where ideology overrides fiscal self preservation for these people.
The Trump campaign team would be well served if every rally they scheduled had an alternative site at a public venue — preferably a national park — where they would be on solid legal grounds to hold a public demonstration.
Demoralization is the one weapon left to the anti-Trumpers, and so far, it is being handled in a most clumsy manner.
Remember the pledge to “crawl to the polls over broken glass”? Well, we shall just have to make that pledge again. There is even more broken glass out there now than there was any time in the past twenty years.
And the crawl will be further and exponentially more difficult.
