White House announces plans for Fourth of July celebrations

The White House said in a statement Friday it will be hosting a “2020 Salute to America” on the South Lawn for the Fourth of July.

The announcement signals another big celebration in honor of Independence Day, set with “music, military demonstrations, and flyovers to honor our Nation’s service members and veterans.”

President Trump will also give a speech prior to the traditional firework display at the end of the evening.

I’m sure it will be cancelled due to racist overtures. Fireworks are racist because they’re every color except black. We could have black fireworks during daylight.

Fireworks shows all over Upstate NY have been cancelled. Money is the excuse, but not the real reason.

My wife and I had planned to go to DC for the 4th of July this year (something I had done many times years ago). We had reservations and plans, which we have cancelled. All of the COVID stupidity would have been reason enough not to go, but the rioting leftists are an even better reason, particularly since the police are not going to stop them.

It seems very likely that there’s going to be all kinds of mayhem and violence in DC on the 4th.

The St. Paul, Minnesota mayor (he is like obama) will once again ban fireworks saying it is too expensive. Meanwhile he has hire many friends over $100,000 dollars, paying them with taxpayer dollars.
