Is there something about Nathan McMurray that voters did not like?

Yes. He’s a Democrat. He’s an idiot (but I repeat myself). He doesn’t live in the district. And he is a jerk.

“Is there something about Fred McMurray that voters did not like?”

The traditional Dems are not enthused. They are bored with Biden and don’t like the riots. It’s the AOC/BERNIE crowd that is riled up.

Not too many of them in this suburban Buffalo district.
And McMurray ain’t their candidate. Do you think Mr. Cleaver could excite the BLM crowd?

So, yes, the Dems stayed home. And the gOP voters had more reason to show up, as they had a primary. Multiple GOP candidates doing voter contact.

Any Democrat with the name Murray, McMurray, Murphy or Maloney are usually insane, Marxists, crooks or all of the above.

Wash. State, NYC, NJ, NYC.

They are so crazy that they have their own padded cell in an insane asylum in a galaxy far, far, away.

The district usually votes very Republican.

But it was very close in 2018 as ex-Rep Collins was under indictment for BS insider trader charges (all of which are BS and likely unconstitutional).

It was also very close in 2012 when Collins beat the incumbent rat that had won (with less than 50%) a 3-way special election when previous GOP Rep. Chris Lee resigned after soliciting transvestites on Craigslist.

In 2016, 2014, 2010, it was heavily Republican. In democrat year 2008 it was a 15 point GOP win. In 2006 a moderate/conservatish democrat (who was later the “Tea Party” candidate that allowed the rat to win the 2012 special election) only lost by 4 points, the same man had lost by 11 points in 2004, in 2002 it was a GOP blowout.

The rats would have liked to have done about 15 points better to be happy about this result.

FWIW Rat candidates consistently ran ahead in specials in 2017-18 and won a strongly GOP seat in PA.

Everything. He used to be my friend, I helped him win his first election here.
He was good for 2 years, then his real sick self reared it’s ugly head.
He has turned in to a whack job leftist.
