Right. Blaming Obama for the Afghanistan/Iraq mess would be like blaming Nixon for the Vietnam mess.
And in a way George W. Bush was even worse (stupider) than LBJ. Johnson had no history to learn from, except maybe the Korean War. W had all the mistakes of Vietnam right in front of him. Yet he repeated almost all of them.
If they ever put up a statue of George W. Bush, I wouldn’t tear it down. I’m not an anarchist. But I would DEMAND that your phrase be inscribed on the statue: “What a stupid retard.”
After 9/11, bush could have done ANYTHING. He could have taken over Pakistan’s government and stationed 500,000 troops there. He could (should) have seized all their nukes. Instead he trusted the Godfather of the Taliban to help defeat the Taliban.
