The problem with Fox News hiring Juan Williams is that beyond showing that in fact there is just one uniparty (republocrats), it always portrays the leftist opposition with a black face - and people respond to images. If Fox News was able to garner a few black viewers, imagine the perception they take away from any discussions involving Juan Williams.
The optics are horrible; that is why MSNBCNN doesn’t have any black conservative voice.
My hope is that it can be redeemed. This is how we win. Converting liberals by showing them the truth.

Years ago, Juan Williams let it slip that his Mom voted for Bush, and has on more than one occasion mentioned his family is pretty Conservative.
I think he is, too, but has become so good at being “outnumbered” on The Five that both he and the other show members realize the role he plays helps support the show’s good ratings. Yet, off camera, I suspect that he is the kind of father and husband most people would really respect and love.
That said, there are times when his defence of the Demonrat party becomes TOTALLY intolerable!
The man is an idiot who cannot for the life of himself understand the Democrat party , his slave owning, KKK segregation party is trying to ruin this country and rewrite the Constitution.

I don't think that Juan has any ill intent. He is like a large percentage of Democrats who are simply brain washed. After years and years of drinking the koolaide, it is difficult to see the truth. Not easy, but it is possible.
I enjoyed the Hannity and Colmes show for this reason. I felt that Hannity made very good, undeniable, points. And Colmes being the “intellectual” would try to defend his point. I do believe that Colmes became more aware as time went on.
Anyway, we need dialog across the political boundaries so that we can break more people away from the hold that the Democrat party has on its members. This is the biggest fear of the Democrat party... the truth. This is why they are now whipping African Americans into a frenzy.
I see Juan as the same as that guy. He says incredibly stupid stuff because that’s what he is paid to do.

Good point. Democrats react purely on emotion with very little logical thought. That is what drives them.
They pretend to be intellectuals and are proud that they believe in science. Prove to them that their science is flawed and they don’t accept it, they continue to defend it... they are driven by emotion.

At least Juan has dropped those ridiculously exaggerated faces of befuddlement, pretending he didn’t know what the others were talking about. I think someone told him that was affecting the show’s credibility.
