Grammy-winning rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West ripped Joe Biden and declared that the Democratic Party has controlled black Americans to the point that “this white man can tell a black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.”
“That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote. All of that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats,” Kanye West said in a lengthy interview with Forbes magazine. “And Democrats used to tell me, the same Democrats have threatened me…. The reason why this is the first day I registered to vote is because I was scared. I was told that if I voted on Trump my music career would be over.”
The rapper added he’s running for president in 2020 under a new banner — the Birthday Party — with guidance from Elon Musk and an as yet unknown vice presidential candidate he’s already chosen.

Before everyone jumps this guy...nobody that is black that already plans on voting for PDJT is going to switch and vote for Kanye. It seems quite obvious to me this is a strategy to destroy Biden votes (and the D party). The younger, more emotional, black vote that will never vote R will be the ones that vote for him.
This is the intention. D’s are panicking. Biden already insulted them for the reasons Kanye states, they expect all black people to vote for D white people running against R’s. That’s racist. This is brilliant.

Not likely. Trump's supporters are very loyal and are not going to flit to some new flavor of the month like some 12-year-old girl at a Backstreet Boys concert.
Besides, Kanye stating that he is a Trump supporter will defeat the entire purpose of his run. In order to draw off Biden supporters, Kanye has to position himself against Trump in order to not be thought of as nothing more than a Trump stalking horse.
I believe that this is a brilliant maneuver to get President Trump re-elected.
Elon recently has swallowed the red pill and Kanye a few years back.
There is NO WAY that Mrs. West would allow her husband to pull this stunt if it would hurt the presidents chances.

Agreed...in fact I’m waiting for the Dems to start complaining that Kanye was put up to running by Trump to siphon black votes away from Biden. Especially since Trump has not congratulated Kayne for running. And truthfully...it might be a good strategic idea for Trump’s campaign.
He said he no longer supports President Trump. His choice. Probably took too much heat for it, and backed off. His support wasn’t a big deal anyway. The guy’s unstable, and fickle to say the least.
I like Trump’s new, secret weapon.
the Dems are already complaining. My husband has 2 facebooks....one for acting and another personal. On his acting one, basically all the actors/crew/producers are majorly complaining that West is trying to pull Biden voters FOR Trump.
I vacillate between “is he crazy? is he a genius?” Have hated his rap. May need to listen to his gospel rap.

I hope he runs, he could be the nominee of a 3rd party that is already on the ballot, or just write in, if he takes 4% of black vote that translates to at least a 3 point advantage for Trump, we’ll see if its just talk
