most believe they where what archaeologist call the Clovis people they died during the extinction of the Younger Dryas. Most likely from a comet or massive solar flare. My opinion the solar flare / micro solar nova. Randal Carlson talks about this. he believes it's a comet.
The reason I believe it was solar because of the black-mat with estimated temperatures of 900 deg F that covered nearly all of north America.
