“Nobody should give financial info freely, but you were acting all high and mighty about NEVER doing it period.”

It’s not all that high and mighty to know it’s not the brightest thing to give out your bank and other financial info to any joker who calls you up. I’m surprised that is a shocking concept to anyone, especially in this day and age. You are a very trusting soul.

I usually let my phone handle the spam. I don’t answer to any incoming calls, and have only gotten a few in my life. I do outgoing calls to Wells Fargo and other companies and I share things to identify myself and my accounts. It’s weird that you seem to say you never do anything over the phone, that’s all.

My dog does all the family talking to strangers—on the phone or in person.

So far he has not revealed any confidential financial information. :-)
