So far, that...and having to give a cell #, are the downsides, for me.

Set up a bogus Gmail account at Google, get a Google Voice account (both are free), use the free number you got from there and use it to sign up. Only way they get past that is with a search warrant.
The other thing you can do is get a little burner phone, use that number, then toss it. As little as $20-30.
I’ve tried twice to join.... never make it through. They will never make it if they don’t make the sign up more user friendly.
plus I haven’t been able to see anyone’s post on it. love to take a look, but cant see nothing...
