The police are not your friends. They are not on “our” side. They exist to do the will of their government bosses. They couldn’t care less about the constitution or as has been amply demonstrated in the last few week they don’t care about the law. Their mission is NOT to protect the citizenry whose taxes they help extort. They are mercenaries who carry out the whims of their political bosses

I know it sounds tin foil hat, but as I said on another thread, something did not feel right to me about this whole thing right from the get go, and I do have a concern it’s a set up to show the “futility” of the 2nd amendment, self defense, castle doctrine or to make gun owners look irresponsible and this couple is complicit...the way they handled their firearms, brandishing at a “peaceful” protest and of course he has the bad “black automatic rifle - the weapons of war”, etc..then on to the TV circuit...all to be made like fools...just my opinion and I hope I’m wrong. And if I’m wrong I hope the local DA gets slammed in court.

It's basically a group of attorneys that you pay to keep on retainer, should you need legal defense over a self-defense shooting incident. Annual costs are minimal because it works like group policy insurance - the many other group members who will never need the service are helping to pay for your defense.

Nebraska has what’s called a good guy permit or handgun permit. Cost me like 5 bucks. Good for 6 years I think. Eliminates the NICS check on handguns and long guns. Really speeds up the process. Now I just need more cash for more toys.
