Bronx, NY 1970, Has been a practicing psychiatrist in the past but now appears to be a teaching academic at Yale, co-author/editor of "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump", a 2017 book of essays that warned against the dangers of Trump's mental instability.

Was a 'witness' to a 12 member US House ad hoc hearing in December 2017 (D=11, R=1), testifying on Trump's mental health and "unraveling". Has been criticized by peers for violating "The Goldwater Rule", where a psychiatrist diagnoses disorder without ever interviewing the 'patient'.

This Goldwater Rule has been dismissed as a 'gag rule' by fellow members but remains as Section 7 in the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Principles of Medical Ethics. Rule was instituted after an infamous "special issue" of Ralph Ginzburg's and Warren Boroson's "Fact Magazine", cover story attack on 1964 GOP Candidate Barry Goldwater (cover below). The magazine and editors were successfully sued post-election by Senator Goldwater.
