Days after police cleared people who had camped out at the Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks was killed, protesters plan to make their presence known again.
Dubbed the “Take Back the Wendy’s” march and rally, protesters plan to meet at 2 p.m. Saturday in south Atlanta and march to the burned-out restaurant off University Avenue.
The sleep-in protesters, who go by the name of the Rayshard Brooks Peace Center activists, occupied the destroyed building for weeks after Brooks was shot and killed by police in June. Since then, several shootings have taken place near the site, including one over the Fourth of July weekend that killed 8-year-old Secoriea Turner.

You’ve got whole cities of impoverished blacks that want food and support and shelter and to be able to raise families... what is BLM doing for them?
No no - have to “retake” a burned out fast food pad to honor a drink driver and setup... a statue?
You would think if they exhibited as much care and concern for their own families as they seem to do for Rayshard Brooks, who is a stranger to most of them, their families would be more successful.
I wish they’d march to undamaged fast food restaurants in the area and apply for a job, but everyone can dream, right?
If you shoot them they won’t return.
Didn’t the Atlanta mayor just sign an executive order prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people in the city? Will she get the police to enforce that order against this rally?
Was that an order Order? Or was that just - this edict doesn’t apply to BLM but only to Trump supporters and people trying to make a living.
Maybe they are going to “take back” the shooting of Secoriea Turner.

It had nothing to do with Wendy’s. Burning the restaurant was designed to tell small minded, easily led individuals that the restaurant was to blame.

Their insurance carrier should be insisting.
Sometime in the past I recall reading about an inventor creating a sticky paste that smells like a rotting corpse and marketed it for being used to keep teens from loitering. Sounds like this place would be a good spot for a liberal application.
Every time I read about a planned protest I think of all the bikers in Waco that organized a peaceful meeting and the Local Sheriffs, Police and Multiple Federal Agencies OPENED FIRE ON THEM and Started EXECUTING THEM just for being in a large group with some of them Armed. Just Like BLM!!!
That may be the last remaining option.
You can’t have a rational discussion with these people. They have a mission to destroy, not to resolve differences. I wished our government would realize that and act accordingly. The longer they let this go on, the worse it will get for normal law abiding people.
