A New York Times columnist has urged likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden not to debate President Trump in the fall. Most voters think that’s a bad idea, although only just over half believe Biden is even up to debating Trump given ongoing questions about his mental health.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters think Biden is capable of debating the president. Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree and say he is not capable of such a debate. Another 11% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
But then 38% of all voters, including 20% of Democrats, believe Biden is suffering from some form of dementia. Sixty-one percent (61%) think it is important for him to address the dementia issue publicly.

This just shows that 54% of the people are not paying attention to basement Joe.

I’m with Joe Rogan on this one: “He’s [Trump] going to eat that guy [Biden] alive.”
But they are ready to vote out Trump and vote for Dementia victim Biden anyway.

You ill never see Biden’s poor performances on the Network News or Liberal Cable. If aRepublican had spoken as Biden has it would have led the Network news.

Question from CNN will be “Is Trump bullying and shaming a dementia victim, or is he merely selfish and heartless? Call the number below and give your opinion.”
And “Winning a debate is one thing but leading America is another as polls show 65% are ready to vote for Biden despite poor debate performance.”

Dementia is a one way street. It doesn’t pause and there are NO treatments for it. It only gets worse.

That was 12 years ago. Biden is not the same Biden as then. He has deteriorated greatly.

Biden will have a few pre-planned singers but then get crushed by Trump and the media will just focus on those Biden jokes and say he won.

not really; he just wouldn’t give him a chance to answer questions or make a point, and the moderator didn’t call him on it...
Biden doesn’t debate; he obfuscates, and it’s extremely frustrating to the opponent trying to make a point; everybody here that says Trump will wipe the floor with Biden needs to remember old Joe has polished this technique for forty years of haranguing people...and does anyone think a moderator is going to do anything about it...?
They’re going to demand a “remote debate” where Biden can do it from his basement and have all the answers fed to him.
When Trump refuses that demand, the media will dutifully report that it was Trump who refused to debate because he was scared of facing tough-guy Biden.

That' was 2012. 8 years ago. Joe was 69, now he's 77. And a quick review of the articles about that debate, Biden might have won but not overwhelmingly.
And Trump has more confidence, more big picture vision, and more command of the facts than Ryan ever thought of having.

That’s the beauty of Trump in a debate. If the moderator won’t do anything about it, Trump will handle it himself.
