What difference would it have made? The treatment wouldn’t affect her work. That chemo doesn’t work that way.

And she isn’t quitting.

And really, when she shows up at Walter Reed you do t think word gets around?

Knowing or not knowing would have only given you something to stew about. I am pretty sure MY opinion means mother to her. Pretty sure your’s wouldn’t either.

“The treatment wouldn’t affect her work.”

My friend, an attorney, had breast cancer in her 40s. She scheduled her chemo treatments on Friday afternoons. She drove herself there, then home. She spent the weekend dealing with the effects of it, then was back to work on Monday morning, hard at it. Tough lady.

In 2018, cancer was back with a vengeance, and she lost that fight.
