UFO, UAP... when you beat a dead horse long enough you need to change the acronym to continue the conversation.
The changed the name of UFOs to something new. Therefore, the may be investigated without the investigator being called crazy.
You have to be old, but if you remember the tv show “The Invaders”, it was about aliens living among us. When one would get killed, it would disintegrate so as to avoid leaving a body.
I submit that Bigfoot is an alien with that capacity. That’s why no bodies have ever been found. :)

Probably because those of a scientific mind usually look for reasonable and rational explanations for any given phenomena rather than paranormal explanations.
If the cookie jar is empty and the kids says Bigfoot & the Tooth Fairy snuck in and stole all of them, a parent might accept that as a fact. Or, the parent, might roll their eyes and laugh.
Say what you will, I’ve been convinced for many years something is out there, and it’s far from stupid.
In the middle of the Atlantic, 500 miles from anywhere, I walked out on deck to do a little star gazing. About 1975.
Something in the distance zipped across the sky from left to right, about a 10 degree upward angle, probably 3/4 across the sky. Could have been a mile away, could have been 30 miles, just a light, same as a running light on any plane, but white, not red or green.
Stopped, zipped back across right to left, almost the same distance, again about 10 degree upward.
Then zipped at around a 60 degree upward angle completely out of sight.
All in maybe 3 seconds.
Nothing made on this planet can maneuver like that today, much less 40 years ago. No I wasn’t stoned. Not even a cup of coffee...this thing didn’t make a circle, like a plane would, it stopped, then zoomed off in the other direction. Instantly. Across the sky twice and out of sight, in under 4 seconds.
A number of sightings I’ve read about have been confirmed by radar. I asked the guys in the radar room, they had nothing that night, or had been ordered to say nothing...I’ve never been sure which. That has happened too, military personnel ordered to keep quiet.
I’ve been reading about this stuff since 1973, watched plenty documentaries. I’ve been convinced there is other life out there for a long time. I think I saw it that night, but have no proof.
at any rate, nothing we’ve ever made can move like what I saw...

The weird thing about the latest video evidence was that it was sourced from the government. The Pentagon flat out said it’s real and hinted it’s not of human origin. The latest guy talking, I’d think, would be shouted down quickly with ‘we can’t confirm nor deny’ talk if he was flat out lying. Right now I’m still pretty 30/70 against aliens visiting us, but I’m up a few points on aliens from a few years ago.
Don’t be silly they determined after Roswell that all those sighting were just Swamp Gas. No really....
