I suppose they could just happen to be doing a free public demonstration of”Static Testing” of a jet engine. why they could even invite the crowds to step closer if they would like to experience the sensation of flying. They could also experience the excitement of seeing thrown bricks and frozen water bottles make “U Turns” in mid flight.
Those with umbrellas would fly like Mary Poppins.
