Plus the bulk cargo port suffered epic destruction. Such a facility operates round the clock so there must have been a lot of port workers blown to bits.

That’s what I was thinking too. I saw a video taken by someone who had been filming the original fire from quite some distance, and you could see a lot of port workers bustling all over the place. When the second explosion came, all you could see was a huge fireball and then things flying through the air, at which point the video ended.

There were also a lot of firemen working the original fire scene, and of course they are all gone.
