We have a federal government with a 5 trillion budget and 26 trillion deficit.
It ALWAYS more and more big bloated sugar daddy government.
If these single mothers can’t afford child care then maybe they shouldn’t have kids. Where are the fathers?
I know plenty of married couples who struggle with finding affordable child care.
What a moronic perspective. Ford, Carter, Reagan Bush, Clinton, Bush Obama Trump. Any of these asshats could have done what she is suggesting.
If you can’t afford kids, don’t have em. Nixon did screw things up for the poor. Disconnecting the dollar from gold means the dollar today buys almost nothing compared to the dollar in 1970. A family could live on one income, tough to do today.
Nixon should also be blamed for the struggles of poor families today....given how many poor kids are born in single family homes. I was 8 in 1970. Back then, radically fewer kids were born out of wedlock. Today, the majority. The pro abortion folks think they have given women control over their bodies. What they have also given men the the right to abandon women when they get pregnant. Nixon should be blamed. For Ford, or Reagan or Bush or Bush or Trump. The libs get a pass from this ass
“But soon Nixon signed the 1971 Revenue Act, which included tax deductions for child-care costs for families with incomes high enough to owe taxes.”
Love that quote...seems to me that those who have INCOMES owe taxes. IOW, more free stuff. They never give up. BTW, in 1972 the bottom tax rate was: 14% beginning at 0 TI (income minus deductions). The Standard Deduction was 1500 and exemptions were 750 each. So, for a married family of 4 taxes began around $4500. Lastly the deficit in 72 was $23 Billion. This year it will be close to 1000 times that much.
Where are the fathers????
You mean the “Baby Daddys”...
Placing the dollar on the gold standard has no meaning unless the number of dollars being circulated are based strictly on the amount of gold held in the gold reserve. Not on the amount of dollars being printed.
