Kanye West Falls 1,300 Signatures Short of Making Illinois 2020 Election Ballot

The Illinois State Board of Elections announced on Friday that rapper Kanye West fell 1,300 signatures short on his bid to be included on the state’s 2020 presidential election ballot.

To qualify for the ballot in the Land Of Lincoln, West would have had to submit a minimum of 2,500 signatures, but election officials determined that the Ye rapper only submitted 1,200 valid signatures on his petitions, Chicago’s WTTW reported.

Illinois recently reduced the number of signatures independent candidates need to get from 25,000 down to only 2,500 because the coronavirus prevented canvassers from approaching voters. West submitted 3,218 signatures, but officials deemed 60 percent of them invalid, the Chicago Tribune reported.

This is where Obama disqualified a primary opponent by challenging signatures.

“They deemed 60% invalid? Wow. Brazen !”

If somehow this benefitted Trump they’d call it racist to deny all the signatures.

If he would,in fact, take votes from Plugs then the only states we'd really want him to be present in are the battleground states...the ones that the President flipped from Osama Obama.

IL doing what it does best; cut throat cheating to keep Kanye off the ballot in a State with a lot of Blacks that could very well vote for him instead of Biden. IL doing the bidding of its DNC masters.

Lisa Murkowski won a statewide Senate race with a write in campaign. Kanye’s last name isn’t nearly as hard to spell.

I’m sure he was expecting the Democrats to play that hand and many others.

Was Colorado close in ‘16? If so it would certainly be good for Kanya to be on the ballot. But in a state like Kalifornia the President doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell so it would serve no useful purpose for him to be on their ballot.

Wow!
The (loyal, honest and true) democrat Illinois election “officials” rejected 60% of the ACTUAL signatures by ACTUAL people that Kayne West submitted (R, black in skin only) - but they will run a factual, honest and true election by mail-in unsupervised ballots!

2020 election fraud alert!

It'll be an embarrassingly close victory for the Demagogic Party, as well.
