Shipment of nearly 20 thousand fake U.S. driver’s licenses from China were just confiscated at Chicago airport

This smells like big time election interference to me...

Why are the Chinese making so many fake U.S. driver’s licenses? That’s a disturbing little tidbit to discover, especially right before an election. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the bulk of these fake U.S. IDs flooding into the country come from China and Hong Kong, with the rest coming in from South Korea and the U.K.

Officials in Chicago just confiscated a shipment of these fake IDs totaling nearly 20 thousand counterfeit cards. Of course, the local news media in Chicago doesn’t see a connection to “voter fraud,” but I do.

As a matter of fact, it’s the main thing I see with just three months before an election. What emboldens illegal voters more than to head to the polls with a phony ID in their pocket in case anyone asks for ID?

From Fox Five: Federal customs officers have seized 1,513 shipments from overseas containing fraudulent documents—19,888 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses—just at Chicago O’Hare International Airport this year through the end of June. Most of the shipments came from Hong Kong and mainland China, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Other shipments came from South Korea and the U.K. “These counterfeit driver’s licenses can lead to disastrous consequences,” CBP’s Ralph Piccirilli said in a statement. “Criminal organizations use these counterfeit IDs to avoid attracting attention to their illegal activities.” […] “What is most disconcerting about these interceptions, besides the volume in which we are experiencing, is the ease in which so many young people freely share their personal information with counterfeiters abroad,” Lemaux said in a statement. “We’ll continue to collaborate with local law enforcement to educate the public, and anyone who is contemplating purchasing a counterfeit ID online, on the potential dangers of sharing your personal, identifiable information with a criminal element.”

I think that we need to really think outside of the box and be open to anything in terms of cheating or interference, because the desperate Democrats simply can’t lose this election, and they’ll work with anyone, anywhere to help squeak out a victory.

And I think China is the number one culprit we need to keep our eyes on.

Beijing officials call US sanctions over Hong Kong ‘ridiculous’ and ‘clowning actions’

US to sanction Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam, others amid political upheaval

Beijing officials fired back early Saturday at the Trump administration, calling sanctions the U.S. imposed over the treatment of Hong Kong “ridiculous” and “clowning actions.”

The White House announced the new sanctions Friday against Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam and 10 other Hong Kong and Chinese officials as a penalty for ending the territory’s political autonomy.

“The unscrupulous intentions of the U.S. politicians to support the anti-China chaos in Hong Kong have been revealed, and their clowning actions are really ridiculous,” Beijing’s top representative office in Hong Kong, the Liaison Office, said in a statement.

Luo Huining, the director of the Liaison Office, was listed among the officials to be sanctioned.

While announcing the sanctions, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had singled out Lam in a statement as the official “directly responsible for implementing Beijing’s policies of suppression of freedom and democratic processes.”

“The United States stands with the people of Hong Kong and we will use our tools and authorities to target those undermining their autonomy,” Mnuchin said.

The sanctions are the latest in escalating tensions between China and the Trump administration, which have clashed over everything from the coronavirus to TikTok, the popular social media app among teens.

Under the new Chinese national security law in Hong Kong, residents are barred from participating in “any act of treason, secession, sedition, subversion against the Central People’s Government.”

Hong Kong authorities made 300 arrests during the initial enforcement of the law on July 1.

Lam, who had been the target of widespread protests as the law was proposed as passed, said she would “laugh it off” if the U.S. sanctioned her.

“I do not have any assets in the United States,” she said at the time, “nor do I long for moving to the United States.”

The upcoming election might well turn adversely to us on the ravages of the pandemic but history likely will write the significance of the election to be when the USA squandered its last chance to turn back an existential Chinese threat.

The Chinese have insinuated themselves into virtually every American institution from news media to Hollywood to academia to big sports to Wall Street until there is virtually no one left who dares to be a Jeremiah, certainly not Jeff Bezos. These institutions are frankly all on the take with the establishment leadership of Congress the most compromised of all.

Always follow the money!
