I disagree w/ @KamalaHarris on many things but I celebrate the ascension of a ferociously self-determined, highly accomplished & thoroughly prepared woman of color to the top of a national ticket. She's a reminder that diversity & possibility are the core of what makes USA great.

I had an African guy tell me, You dont have to agree with Obama, but you have to be proud that a black man was elected president. He was stunned when I said, Not when the black man is this black man. Not even a little. Now, back in 1996, I voted for Dr. Keyes in the primary. Him, I would have been proud to have helped elect. I dont think he ever hear the name.

President Reagan chose George Bush for VP. In case some others might’ve forgotten.

The single worst decision Reagan ever made. Even worse than President Trump choosing Sessions as his AG.

It appears portraying yourself as being "politically correct" is how you "shine" yourself to others.

At times when we vote it is not for a particular candidate BUT we are voting against the bad one.......
Most times for me.

A timely reminder that even good Conservatives including Ted Cruz can make mistakes.

Agreed.
Let’s hope Ted doesn’t ever make the mistake of trying to run for President again. Senators, people who talk for a living, make lousy Presidential candidates and lousy Presidents.

Warren Harding was one of our greatest Presidents. Cut taxes, cut government spending and the size of government and unleashed the prosperity of the 1920s. He came from the Senate. Coolidge got credit for most of what Harding set in motion.

Let me go on record apologizing for so many of my gender who are so stupid that they apparently support someone SIMPLY BECAUSE THAT PERSON IS A WOMAN.
Identity politics are the absolute dumbest reason to vote for someone. Period.

There are always exceptions to a rule. Ted is not one of them. I like many of his policy positions but, his campaign-style was painful to watch. He comes across as sanctimonious, and extremely unlikable.
My wife and my eldest son were fans of Ted before he ran for President. After watching him on the stump they recoiled at his public speaking mannerisms. They said to me we really like his policies but, his public persona is a total turn-off. He’s simply not a likable guy.
I and a great many people agreed with their assessment.
