Russia may have become the first nation in the world to register the vaccine for novel coronavirus, but medical experts and health agencies around the globe are not entirely convinced of the safety and efficacy of the Russian vaccine. Dubbed as ‘Sputnik V’, the Russian vaccine was developed by the Moscow’s Gamaleya Institute and Russian defence ministry.

However, the controversies surrounding the vaccine still refuse to die as the World Health Organization has maintained that the Russian vaccine is NOT in the advanced stages of human trials (Phase III). As medical experts globally are already sceptical about the accelerated rate at which the Russian vaccine has been developed, Russia’s own leading doctor has quit, criticising the untested vaccine.

As per media reports, Russia’s top respiratory doctor Professor Alexander Chuchalin has quit the Russian health ministry, citing ‘gross violations’ of medical ethics concerning ‘Sputnik V’. It is being reported that Professor Alexander had tried to block the registration of ‘world’s first coronavirus vaccine’ on ‘safety’ grounds. Failing to do so, he quit the ethics council of the Russian health ministry.

The country’s top pulmonologist has also named and criticised two leading medics, namely Professor Alexander Gintsburg, who is the director of the Gamaleya Research Centre and Professor Sergey Borisevich, who is Russia’s leading expert in virology. These two scientists have been involved in the development of ‘Sputnik V’ and as per Professor Alexander Chuchalin, have ‘flouted medical ethics’ by rushing the vaccine into production.

As per a report published in Daily Mail, Professor Chuchalin further questioned the two leading vaccine-makers about the safety norms flouted by them. He said, “Have you passed all the necessary paths approved by Russian Federation legislation and the international scientific community? Not!”

* It should be noted that Russia has given the go-ahead for the vaccine without completing the crucial Phase III trials—where the thousands of volunteers are dosed with the vaccine candidate to check for its side-effects and immune system response it induces.

* While Russian President Putin’s daughter has already been inoculated with two jabs of ‘Sputnik V’, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has also offered to take a shot of Sputnik V. Addressing the media, he had said on Monday, “When the vaccine arrives. I will have myself injected in public. Experiment on me first, that’s fine with me.”

* Adding more fuel to the fire, Russia has still not made any scientific articles related to the vaccine available for the public domain.

* Russia’s leading virologist and former head of infectious diseases at Vector Institute, Alexander Chepurnov had also expressed his concerns over the safety of the vaccine and underlined the danger of ‘íncreased spread of novel coronavirus’ as well.

“The danger is there in terms of the possibility of increasing the disease‘s severity with the wrong vaccine. With some diseases —and for the coronavirus, this is already known that the infection can intensify with the presence of certain antibodies. The following below coincides with a portion of the article as it appeared. That is another reason why I would be hesitant to try any ‘Quickly brewed vaccine’ It just may work the first time around, but should you get a mutation of this family of viruses, the results could be questionable. ALL of the quickie COVID "vaccines" inject a live, synthetic virus programmed to invade the cells in our body ... every last one of them!

None of the current quickie COVID vaccines are really vaccines in the traditional sense of a vaccine that injects target virus fragments (antigens) that the body reacts to by making protective antibodies.

Instead, what these quickie "vaccines" really are is a giant gene therapy experiment to be conducted simultaneously on billions of people. Instead of the actual target virus fragments (antigens), what will be injected is a live, laboratory-made synthetic virus/plasmid that contains spliced-in DNA/RNA of COVID target virus fragments (antigens) so that your own body will manufacture the target virus fragments (antigens) itself when the synthetic virus/plasmid enters your cells and hijacks their protein-production machinery, with the body subsequently producing the protective COVID antibodies to the self-made COVID target virus fragments (antigens).

Heretofore, such recombinant DNA/RNA techniques first mixes the synthetic virus/plasmid into a bioreactor containing living cells where the synthetic virus/plasmid invades the cells, multiplies, hijacks the cell machinery, and produces the target virus fragments (antigens) encoded in the synthetic virus/plasmid. The manufactured target virus fragments (antigens) are then extracted and purified. These virus fragments (antigens) in turn are the only active ingredient in the vaccine when it's injected into people being vaccinated. Thank you very much for this great explanation. All depending if you are familiar with BHT or not I do believe that BHT works in a similar fashion as during the virus killing process it will most likely produce leftover fragments and debris which is recognized by the human body and will simulate and encourage our own virus fighting process.

In other words and in a roundabout manner it may encourage the human body to produce its own vaccine. All I know is that BHT works with little or no side effects. I would not want to include it in a steady diet, just during the duration when some of these viruses are on the lose what I have done off and on for the past thirty years and have not had any problems with flu related viruses. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for colds, as these viruses have no lipid cover. So I had a couple minor encounters with colds, but nothing to write home about and they did not last very long as I have been boosting my immune system with he likes of NAC as well as ascorbic acid, zinc etc. .
