We need to push back harder than they are pushing.
Like all bullies, they won’t stop bullying unless they get the bloodied nose.
Anything less and they simply see it as a sign of weakness and it’s blood in the water to them.
We must arm up and lose our fear of cutting human flesh.
It’s about survival, now.
Rarely does a bloody nose get the job done.
What does work is to end the fight by destroying their mind, crushing their spirit, inflicting injuries that ensure perpetual physical pain, and leaving them alive, forever frightened of the next terrifying blow, as a reminder to all the other would-be bullies.
Never start a fight. But if forced to fight ensure you have the knowledge, tools, and most importantly, will, to beat your opponent to the point they think they are going to die, and then to the point where they are afraid they will live. At that point, the fight is over, and the threat is neutralized.
Just what I’ve said over and over. As a kid, I delivered a few of ghose ‘bloodied noses’ of which you speak. In all but 2 cases, that one punch was the only one that occurred. The other 2 guys took a little more...persuasion...but both were lots bigger than me, had grudges, and thought of me as a pushover...
Embarrass the school bully in class sometime...then just a bloody nose won’t cut it...otherwise, you’re exactly right, all these idiots need is to see you WILL push back. I’ve done it too many times, usually when dealing with bullies much bigger than I was.
All they respond to is brute force. Nothing else works. Unfortunately, I’d always put up with it way too long before I reacted...
