Parents of students who attend Rutherford County Schools (RCS) must agree not to monitor their child’s online classroom sessions.
Officials at all county schools are asking parents to sign forms agreeing not to watch these virtual classes.
Just say no.
Tell us why.
This cannot be legal.
That’s one way to ensure the classrooms are monitored by parents.
Most people have other things to do, and obviously teachers don’t want to be second-guessed on every thing they say or do. But... the teacher who asks me not to watch, is the one I want to watch.
If you still have your kids in public schools, this is prime time to take them out.
Not only would I monitor, I would record it. That way, when the liberal indoctrination occurs, there is proof. Screw these commie rat bastards!
They don’t want us to know what they are teaching. Whether it’s a revised version of history, or a modernized version of sex education including various genders, they don’t want us to know what is being taught.
Surely, some parent in the county either is a lawyer, or has a friend or family member that is a lawyer, and can ask, “Why?” as well as cite some laws and precedent (there’s always one) against this policy.
It’s supposed to be “public education,” not “secret indoctrination.”

I have grandkids being “distance schooled” right now. The parents are usually nearby, its not a big house. I can’t imagine the schools telling them they can’t listen in.
