Hmmmm. Interesting site. Credible? Scanned a couple of other items. Who knows what's credible these days?

I am unaware of such an operation. If such an operation truly did exist, I would not be disposed to talk about it.

The source - OCCRP-is a Soros-backed website.

Every page of the OCCRP website features the same bottom section listing the icons of four of the organization’s top funders, including Soros’s Open Society Foundations and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Indeed, OCCRP provides a hyperlink to the webpage for Soros’s Open Society at the bottom left corner of every page on OCCRP’s own website.

demurrage - a charge payable to the owner of a chartered ship in respect of failure to load or discharge the ship within the time agreed.

Someone was paying rent on that space in the warehouse. Where are the auditors?

"Even the Lebanese government does not appear to know who actually owned the ship."

I know nothing really about law but this statement keeps popping up and it bothers me because it seems we are all being lied to about this. Im having a really hard time believing that there arent laws in every country that cover this. Doesnt it seem like any ship "abandoned" in any countrys port would immediately become the property of that state? If I were in league with the Chinese then I could just park a couple of tanker bombs in the port of some big American city and "abandon" them until the time was right? Would Russia, China, Germany, or England put up with something like that if I parked my bomb there?
