Kenosha Prosecutor Proves Kyle Rittenhouse's Case
American Thinker.com ^ | September 6, 2020 | Civis Americanus

I downloaded and read the charges filed against Kyle Rittenhouse by Kenosha assistant district attorney Angelina Gabriele. If I were on the jury and read only the D.A.'s side of the story, I would acquit Rittenhouse for the most serious charges without even listening to his side. The only one that looks to me as if it could have merit is "possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18," which is a misdemeanor.

Let's start with Rittenhouse's first assailant, Joseph D. Rosenbaum. If this is Joseph Don Rosenbaum from Arizona, he served prison time, which is usually consistent with a felony conviction. I was unable to confirm from AZ or WI records that he was a sexual offender, as some have claimed. The following is not Rittenhouse's side of the story as told by himself or his attorney; it is the prosecutor's side of the story. The "probable cause" portion of the document says (I am copying from an OCR transcription of the original PDF document so the accuracy might not be 100%, and emphasis is mine):

Following the defendant is Rosenbaum ... The video shows that as they cross the parking lot, Rosenbaum appears to throw an object at the defendant. The object does not hit the defendant and a second video shows, based on where the object landed, that it was a plastic bag.

An empty plastic bag won’t go very far at all. What was in the bag? A brick?

From the video, the building's lights sure made the plastic bag look like a Molotov cocktail from that angle. Video also correlates with the reporter's statement that there was a gun shot that came from behind him and Rosenbaum.

It wouldn't surprise me if the autopsy shows that Rosenbaum was shot in the back with a pistol. Which was fired by an Antifa and intended for Kyle.

Ok Counselor, here is a plastic bag and I am ordering you to throw it across the courtroom, if you cannot throw it 25 feet across this courtroom, I will find you in Contempt of Court, fine you $10,000 and JAIL you for 90 days, in which time I will order a Criminal Investigation of YOU for DEFRAUDING THE COURT and I am also sending a Letter to the BAR Association for Criminal and Ethical Violations and demand they fully investigate and DISBAR you Permanently.

"possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18," which is a misdemeanor.

How many young men enlisted under the age of 18 and were given a gun by the Government itself? Were any of them procecuted under this unconstitutional law? Sounds like selective prosecution here!

Lin Wood says the law only applies to 16 and under.

The prosecutor doesn’t have the guts to let Kyle Rittenhouse off.

probably something that needs a bag to contain it. Brick/rock plus your favorite noxious substance - feces, urine, combo.

It’s more likely that first shit was fired in the air by the professional agitator who was on scene with his sidekick porn starlet woman sidekick. This has Been fairly well documented. He should be arrested and charged with inciting a riot.

Your remark makes sense. Just for the hell of it I tried throwing a plastic bag that appeared to be the same size as in the video.

No matter how hard I threw it, the best I could do was 5 feet. And its trajectory was nothing like in the video. The bag I threw headed for the floor at about a 45 degree angle from the time it left my hand.

Science fiction writer Larry Niven coined “Niven’s Laws”, in response to Kent State:

1: Never throw sh!t at an armed man.

2: Never stand next to any idiot who is throwing sh!t at an armed man.

Also I think KR shot Rosenbaum only once and the round went through his hand into his groin and then shattered his hip.

Plus I would like to add that skateboard dude shot himself when he grabbed the barrel of KR’s rifle and tried to yank it out of his hands - whereupon that force pulled the weapon forward against KR’s trigger finger. Then Bang!

One of things lacking from today's justice system as opposed to previous decades (or centuries) is any sense of moral rightness.

In the past, a district attorney would look at a 17-year-old with no criminal record taking out three known criminals in the middle of a riot, pat him on the shoulder, and say "Good shooting, son."

And the criminal element knew that prosecutors would always favor good citizens without question, which had a salutary effect on their actions.

Today, our liberal prosecutors are so concerned with things like "systemic racism" and "righting the wrongs of the past" (when they are not outright Communist revolutionaries) that they ignore the backgrounds of the players in the interest of some nebulous concept of fairness. They equate self-defense with murder. The states of New York and Washington even banned legal policies offered to concealed carriers by the NRA and USCCA, deriding them as "murder insurance."

The US cannot survive a justice system that equates the motives of the self-defender and the murderer. Removing the Soros DA's has to become the number one priority of conservative voters.

My money is on a hammer. There were several pictures of rioters using hammers to attack vehicles in those auto lots. Looking at images of rioters elsewhere, it seems to be a favourite weapon for smashing windows and breaking into premises.

Again the fatal shot was in Rosy’s back - Kyle and Roy were facing each other. There is no footage which shows who fired the fatal shot. There is only one eye witness, but he was also facing Kyle and Rosy. There was at least one other shooter present - as you can see a flash and hear a shot coming from the upper left of the Regg Inkagnito film. Many other people were armed that night; there is as yet no coroner report citing the caliber of the rear wound.

The autopsy shows that the fatal wound is indeed in the back but no caliber is given. Many Antifa punks were armed with pistols
