The deputies asked for Walker’s identification and got upset and demanded he get out of the vehicle....

I think I hear one officer in the video complaining that the perp is biting him and that is why the other officer is punching the perp. I see nothing wrong with this one. They were struggling to subdue this guy.
The idiot they’re interviewing says “it’s disheartening to see considering the level of protest in the 100 days.”
Level of rioting, looting, bodily harm and destruction inn the last 100 days is more like it.
Where is the rest of the video? You know, the part that leads up to the part we are being allowed to see?
If I were a cop today I wouldn't lift a finger to prevent *any* crime or attempt to apprehend *anyone* for *anything*.
Unless,of course,it's me or someone I love who's in danger.

OK, so what did this jerk do that resulted in 2 police officers having to be on top of him? I am so sick and tired of these animals provoking incidents with the police and then complaining when the police response (arguably) is over the top. Time for the Cincinnati solution. Pull all cops out of black neighborhoods and let them shoot, stab, and kill. Make the black “leaders” come begging for the police. That’s how you solve this.

On the other hand, there was just an incident in San Antonio where police were looking for a black guy for domestic abuse and stopped a black guy who really didn’t fit the description... and then grabbed him and tossed him into the cop car for not carrying identification, came up with some BS felony assault charges, etc., etc. The police have admitted they did this but blamed him for not carrying ID.
He wasn’t driving but was asked to give the police his license. He said no to that.
Resist a cop and you get beat. But who doesn’t want to say no when asked an unlawful or unconstitutional request?
The advice on this forum is to always submit to the cops no matter what and sort it out later. And now we submit to lockdowns and orders to were masks and orders not to gather. What’s next?

On the other hand, every day we have stories about police being fired and charged with crimes; which kind of destroys the narrative that cops get away with things.
His other choice is the baton, pepper spray which wouldn’t be feasible looking at the video, taser or firearm. Instead the cop punched the whiny bitch. All he had to do was cooperate and him being a punk causes all this. The sheriff is a puss bag for firing his deputy, the other deputies all now know he doesn’t have their backs and will throw them under the bus. If I am in that department I start looking for another job because I am not getting out of my cruiser unless I have too. Crime is about to spike in this area.
IDK, I live in the 9th Circuit district where asking passengers for ID absent reasonable suspicion that said passenger is engaged in criminal activity is an unlawful order.
I also don’t let cops search my house or car without a warrant. Or let CPS interview my kids without a lawyer present.
Not because I have anything to hide, but because it’s important to defend one’s rights against the intrusion of the Karens of the nanny state.
But who doesn’t want to say no when asked an unlawful or unconstitutional request?
