Yep. And it’s gonna happen sooner or later.
My Democrat friends still see the Democrat party as the party of Truman and JFK - the party of the working man. It drives me crazy. I can’t get them to realize that today’s Democrat party is the party of AOC and Bolshevik Bernie.
Truman and JFK’s Democratic Party was that as well.
My tagline comes from the same letter from Reagan to Nixon where Reagan said of JFK, “Under the tousled boyish haircut is still old Karl Marx, first launched a century ago.”
Both of them were more conservative than liberal although those two concepts were not realized at that time.
