‘Fill the seat’: Will Chamberlain notes that Amy Coney Barrett has already gone through Senate confirmation hearings

We’d like to see the Senate seat President Trump’s nominee to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as quickly as possible — it could have even longer-lasting implications than a Harris-Biden administration would, as there would be a check on their power in the Judicial branch.

We’re not sure who the nominee will be, but Judge Amy Coney Barrett has been on the short-list for a Supreme Court seat for a while, and Human Events editor-in-chief Will Chamberlin reminds us that Barrett already went through Senate confirmation hearings in 2017 when she was named to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The Senate confirmed her then, so why not let those be the hearings and just have a vote?

Yes,she has.But what was missed that time was that she was a white supremacist who once ruled that a parent has the right to prevent a child from getting “transgender” treatment.

If McConnell has 50 votes (remember Pence can be a tiebreaker), he should have a summary vote as within 24 hours following President Trump nominating someone.

So did I. Then I remembered Wilt has been dead for 20+ years.

Britt Grant, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, has also already gone through a very rigorous (DemocRATS hate both her and Amy Coney Barrett) Senate Confirmation hearing relatively recently. The ‘RATS won’t be able to dig up anything derogatory on either of these women.

You are so right. Every minute that passes decreases the odds that we get this done.

The other day I stumbled onto him at Twitter responding to that idiot Alcindor woman.

I squealed with delight!

The Commie-Rat folks already have a portfolio of made up nonsense prepared for any expected nominee including Amy and Britt. They do not wait until the nominee is official before they do research. They have prepared lines of attack already generated and waiting. The truth is not relevant to them.

And Bill Russell will be doing SC analysis for court TV.

Makes sense to pick someone who has already been vetted and been through Senate confirmation hearings.

Just because Soros money could not present any derogatory information on Amy Coney Barrett in 2017, does not mean that some new narrative cooked up in the interim won’t be presented. Doesn’t have to be true, just has to be thrown up and disproved, which may entail a considerable delay, enough to get past the election and throw the outcome of that election into disarray.

Judge Barrett is in for a few very bad days, should her name be submitted.
