"It's not true in ALL of them, but yes it is a common factor. This particular case though, the police conducted an unnecessary no-knock raid putting lives at risk, and an innocent party was the victim of that. It was not just."
Blame the judge who issued the no-knock authorization. And even though the raid was authorized as a no-knock, the A.G. said that the police DID knock and identify themselves before entering (which was corroborated by a witness), and the first thing that happened when they entered is that the boyfriend shot one of them.

The no-knock warrent isn’t a factor because the cops did knock and identify themselves.

"Blame the judge who issued the no-knock authorization." I do. And the police that asked for it and executed it.
"And even though the raid was authorized as a no-knock, the A.G. said that the police DID knock and identify themselves before entering (which was corroborated by a witness), and the first thing that happened when they entered is that the boyfriend shot one of them."
Yeah. They're lying. Out of a dozen witnesses they got one to say that maybe he heard the police announce themselves, and only after his third interview. And the boyfriend called 911 saying people were breaking into his apartment. It was a no-knock raid.
