Charles Barkley reacts to Breonna Taylor case, dismisses 'defund the police' as 'crap'
Fox News ^ | September 24 2020 | Ryan Gaydos

Charles Barkley reacted to the Breonna Taylor indictment decision during a broadcast before an NBA playoff game on Thursday -- and also dismissed calls to defund the police.

Barkley said on the “NBA on TNT” broadcast that Taylor’s death cannot be put in the same category as those of George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery. Floyd was killed while in police custody in Minneapolis and Arbery was fatally shot while jogging in Georgia.

“It’s bad this young lady lost her life,” Barkley said of Taylor. “But we do have to take into account that her boyfriend did shoot at the cops and shot a cop. So, like I say, even though I am really sorry she lost her life, I don’t think we can just say we can put this in the same situation as George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery. I just don’t believe that.”

I pretty much agree with everything Barkley said here.

We still love Sir Charles here in Phoenix.

Even Glover, the drug-dealing ex-boyfriend she was picking up money for understood that.

Glover (drug dealing ex boyfriend) blames Walker for her death, and says that if he had been there, “Bre would be alive, bruh... I don’t shoot at no police.”

Charles has more common sense than ridiculous white liberals like Steve Kerr.

Methinks Sir Charles makes plenty of sense there.
In fact he makes more sense than every single elected Democrat. And he makes vastly more sense than LeBron the moron.

There’s been a lot of knee-jerk liberals that’ll chant ‘burn it down’, and they mean it. The cops mostly just let them riot.

Yaakov Meridor, the Irgun leader, when he was caught in his hiding place by the British, gave up peaceably, because he did not want to do battle with them and risk his wife and children getting hurt. He spent several years in exile in an African prison, missed the ultimate triumph over the Mandate, but he did escape and arrive back in Israel on time for the War of Independence.

What did this bozo have to gain by shooting at the cops. Breono’s death is on him, because all he thought about was himself.

Though it was an ill-advised boneheaded stunt by the police and they shouldn’t have been there at all, Barkley is correct that once the lead starts flying, all bets are off. Ain’t nobody within range safe.

Yes he does. His reaction to the Jussie Smollett incident showed that. And it’s hilarious.

Maybe Charles can provide the public with the details of how a DEAD BODY was found in Taylor’s rental car recently.

No one else seems to want to talk about it.

I have driven over 1 million miles.

I have owned a number of vehicles.

I have NEVER had a DEAD BODY in my vehicle!!!!

The dead body in the rental car story just lingers out there. Nothing said much over it. They know who it was, and have buried the guy. She had to have known the person as well...maybe on a first name basis.

A normal person would have flipped on the report of the body in their rental car....got themselves cleared, and moved out away from this whole mess...leaving the state. She didn’t....she just lingered there in the middle of the drug business, and wanted a lifestyle surrounding it.

Yeh, appears to me, viewing the riots on tv that the demographic is young and white. Guessing mostly college students. If the cops would be more aggressive with crowd dispersal techniques These snow flakes would go back home to mommy and daddy real quick....
