NYC will be ok. It’s the capital of international finance. But you can kiss the middle class goodbye. This is a tragedy. But commies like DeBlasio and Cuomo don’t care. They want political power over the deplorables who populate much (not a majority, but still a substantial portion) of the city and state. Get out while you can.

Covid has forced companies to go to telecommuting. It will continue into next year. After that’s over and both companies and workers have gotten used to it, companies will think hard before asking workers to return to expensive office space. Workers are realizing they don’t need to make a stressful, time consuming commute and bear the expenses (transportation, lunch, daycare, doggy daycare, etc) that comes from commuting.

You don’t even need to live I an expensive crowded city to telecommute. New York is in big trouble long term.

Middle class? In NY? Its the rich that are leaving in droves. Apparently trying to not pay the higher taxes that the NY Times says Trump doesn’t pay.
