One of our local talk stations had a guest on over the Summer. A reporter from Seattle who said that as bad as the Mayors of Seattle and Portland were, the people who were in line to replace them were all WORSE. Absolutely chilling.

Grew up near Seattle. The old timers were/are salt of the earth types. Jackson/Magnuson Democrats at worse, which looking back were pretty good representatives for the most part. Have family members that were long time Democrats that are horrified now.
