Electric pick-em up truck? That's plum un-American.
Real American trucks have V-8 engines that gulp petroleum.

I was taught by the guys on the construction site where I worked in the Summer of 72 that a 6 pulled better than an 8! 😉

Real American trucks WILL HAVE 10,000 ftlbs torque!

Ford sells a boat load of V6 turbo powered F150s. Lots of spinning parts to go wrong.
Toyota Tundra is looking to go with a turbocharged V6 as well and maybe a hybrid option. Even more spinning parts. The current Tundra 5.7 liter V8 with 6 speed automatic is a first class petroleum gulper.
My 2000 F150 is on it's second battery. No other maintenance over 200K miles.

Real American trucks have V-8 engines that gulp petroleum. Gassers are fine for getting groceries. 6 or 8, real trucks burn diesel.
