Now we know what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s bizarre 25th Amendment comments were really about.
During her Thursday press conference, Pelosi told media to come on back Friday to hear something regarding the constitutional amendment by which a president may be removed from office. Passed in the wake of President Kennedy’s assassination in 1963, the 25th spells out what may be lawfully done when a sitting president is deemed no longer fit to serve.
Section 4
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
The 25th Amendment to our august Constitution was never intended to be a partisan cudgel. It was intended to bring order out of chaos for a nation reeling from some tragedy.
But welcome to 2020, where literally anything can happen, and it usually does! We’ve nearly had World War III, we have had space aliens a couple of times, and we’ve had a deadly virus sweep the world and we’re all supposed to stay mum about where it came from while we stay locked up and watch our economy crash and burn. Well, mainly in the locked-up Democrat states. Red states that have reopened seem to be bringing more jobs back.
We have other means besides the quite serious and scary mechanisms of the 25th for removing presidents. They’re called “elections,”

I think it’s been clear that foreign governments have been involved in the entire coup attempt. I think this is more Treason than Sedition. The Globalists are behind the whole thing. It goes beyond mere “party politics”.

The point is a Dog and Pony show in the House with the hysteric support of the MSM and demands that the Senate suspend all business to “address the “Crisis.” Trying another ploy to stop the SCOTUS nomination.
SO why does she waste taxpayer $$$$$ to try such stupidity when there is work to be done??????
This ploy is Nanzi Pelosi’s “insurance card” just like the FBI concocted in case Trump won.

Exactly: but since the VP would effectively be the leader of the cabal, it’s much more likely — at least in Nan’s mind — that Kamala would use this clause to remove Joe.

And exactly how is this going to get past the Senate and the President?
It seems pretty clear that the 25th isn’t there so that the President can be overthrown (which is what Nancy wants).
The 25th is there because of Woodrow Wilson — the president is truly incapacitated … what happens next?
Basically, if the VP and the cabinet say the president cannot serve, the president can choose to counteract by writing a letter saying, “I’m fine”.
And, by the way, with a vibrant President (ex. Donald J. Trump) if the cabinet makes a move against him, I would expect the President to seek new cabinet members. Because overthrowing the president isn’t part of our system. If the president is truly incapacitated, the cabinet can do it’s duty without repercussions. But under the situation we are in today, if the cabinet tries to overthrow, there will be payback, and they know it.
And Pence would never join in.
And if the impossible happens — if they move to overthrow, and if they choose to ignore a letter from the President saying “I’m fine”, what follows?
Next move is two-thirds of the House and two-thirds of the Senate can push him out. That would never happen.
This overthrow is sedition at best, treason at worst.

I’d rather not. I’m already pretty close to maximum depression.
One huge reason I hope PDJT wins the election is to see how he plans to repay CHYYY-na for the WuFlu. He alludes to it often, and it could be the best act of his second term.
IF we retake the House, I certainly hope there is retribution.
