My first thought is that they must know something that the rest of us FREEPER’s don't know. Like their Intelligence agencies have carefully evaluated all the polling data and concluded that the data we see that shows Trump winning is wrong.
My second thought is that the people feeding Oxford graduate Johnson are just deep state folks who gathered garbage from the New York Times.

If the story is true, they are following the same news everyone else is. But I’m not sure why they’d be openly courting Biden now when there is a three month period after the election where the current President is still in power. Far safer to court one way or the other after the election when you know the outcome. That makes me suspect this is bull, but who knows.

“Panicking”? Its the job of any government to get on with other democratically elected allied leaders. Boris would be doing the UK a disservice by going all out for one candidate over another. Its a strategy that bit John Major on the ass when he colluded with Bush Sr to dig up dirt on Clinton from his Oxford years in an attempt to get re elected. Any responsible PM would not do anything to alienate either of the main candidates in a way that could compromise relations with them if they win.
That said, I’m still convinced Trump will win. People are fired up for Trump, nobody is fired up for Biden.
