I don’t think masks work.
Having said that, I will point out that over the past 8 months or so, pretty much everyone has worn a mask with some regularity. So pretty much anyone who comes down with COVID has “worn a mask”.
I could also say that the majority of people getting COVID have had eggs for breakfast.
I believe masks actually spread COVID (and who knows what else)...they are filthy, and people don’t care for them.
Bingo! Did they compare a sample of mask wearers vs. those who did not wear masks to come up with this finding?
Well, they don't work to stem virus transmission, but they work to get me in the grocery store.
"No shirt, no shoes, no mask, no service" - OK fine, your store - your rules.
But what about these morons that wear them jogging, or riding in their cars alone?
Do they not understand how stupid they look?
Try actually reading the article.
The statement on its own means nothing without context; right off the bat, I assume people wearing masks are doing so because they are exposed to the public (rather than hiding under their beds maskless). Also, seeing so many people wearing and handling them improperly really disguises that the statistic doesn’t mean much if such people are considered as “wearing masks”.
Washing hands, and cleaning anything that could have the virus on it (especially cash) is important.
You do not live in small town Kansas. A lot of us do not wear masks. Of course we had the kung flu back in January and survived. Not everyone is like the people around us, no matter where we live.
