Dr. Fauci Protests Too Much. He objects to a campaign ad, though Trump took his advice on Covid-19.

In the case of Anthony Fauci vs. Donald Trump, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) doctor and the media say the Trump campaign is running an ad that takes Dr. Fauci’s words in vain. Readers can decide, so let’s go to the videotape.

The 30-second Trump ad released last week says “President Trump is recovering from the coronavirus, and so is America” and goes on to note “together we rose to meet the challenge, protecting our seniors, getting them life-saving drugs in record time.” It then features Dr. Fauci saying “I can’t imagine that anybody could be doing more.”

The quote was pulled from a Fox News interview in late March when Dr. Fauci was asked if he had ever seen as large a public response by an Administration to such a health threat. He responded: “We’ve never had a threat like this, and the coordinated response, and there are a number of adjectives to describe this, impressive, I think is one of them. We’re talking about all hands on deck.”

He went on to detail the White House coronavirus task force’s ’round-the-clock phone calls and meetings. “So I can’t imagine that under any circumstances that anybody could be doing more,” he concluded.

Dr. Fauci nonetheless took umbrage at his appearance in the Trump ad. “In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate,” he told CNN. “The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials.”

Campaigns aren’t required to get permission to use his public statements.

The quote that the President’s ad used came from an interview with Mark Levin. Levin played clips last night from that interview that proved that the comments in context were even stronger in favor of the President.

Now I bet the Biden campaign will run some kind of ad featuring Fauci’s “out of context” complaint.

I didn’t start really disliking Fauci till this moment. I had come to the conclusion that he was an attention monger, and kind of a dingbat in terms of his political philosophy (whatever it is) but he needs to just shut up now. Or at least he could be gracious and say, “I don’t endorse political candidates, but I can’t deny President Trump acted swiftly during the pandemic.” Then just shut up.

I thought Biden already used Fauci in some ads but it’s possible it was another democrat candidate’s ad. Anyways I don’t remember Fauci complaining about that

Yep, Fauxi showed his true color there.

Have you seen this one on PEPFAR? It’s 45 minutes but...wow!

In a nutshell:
CDC/PEPFAR (Birx, Fauci, Pence) > Global Fund (Birx, Gates, vaccines, $10’s of billions from Fed>via PEPFAR) > UN Development Program (oversees GF spending with closed books via “special immunity”, gets $100’s of millions from Fed for administering) > GF grant recipients (a mystery).

Fauci's complaints proves that he is a deep state leftist. He thinks himself above politics and above the President. He thinks he knows better than the people. He is part of the long-term government class in DC that runs government they way they want despite who is President. They are not elected. They think they answer to no one.

I want the swamp drained more than anything. It is the greatest danger to the Republic because it neutralizes the will of the people.

Fauci’s comment was in an interview filmed by Mark Levin and was publicly available. Fauci doesn’t have rights to that film, so he has no say over how it is used. And in the interview he was specifically speaking of the Response of the task force and President Trump, not the federal government at large.

Fauci is learning a hard lesson about running his mouth in front of a camera at each and every opportunity.

I was angry at Levin for going so easy on him, but it now appears Dr. Doom got rope-a-doped. Atta boy, Mark.

“So I can’t imagine that under any circumstances that anybody could be doing more,” he concluded.

Now he wants to flip flop, again. He said it and it was about the administration's efforts. He can't protest but they are his words.

Fauci, among others such as Haspell, Wray, will be fired on November 4.

Yeah I read about that recently. I haven’t really paid attention to Biden ads so I missed that.
