“So let’s look at the three biggest lies that are still being used to spread fear of COVID-19, ...

1. COVID carries a very high, 3.4 percent, death rate [compared to a flu death rate of 0.10 percent]. This has now been debunked by none other than the United Nations World Health Organization, ... The WHO came out with updated mortality rates this week showing that only 0.13 percent of those infected will die. ... This 0.13 percent death rate is almost exactly the death rate for the common flu.”

There have been approximately 8,000,000 cases in America, total. A vast number of those are now fine.

Approximately 200,000 dead.

That is pretty close to the original estimate. Lower, but in the ballpark.

Just saying.

Yeah, except by the CDC’s own admission, 94% of COVID “deaths” were not due to COVID alone, and the average age of COVID deaths were people well beyond life expectancy. They can claim as many “deaths” as they want, but it is meaningless.

The 200,000 number is as much of a lie as everything else about COVID.

Except the overwhelming number of those who have been infected are asymptiomayic and have not been tested, so the real death rate is 0.13 just like the UN is now saying. A lot of us have been saying the same thing since March.

no. in most of those so called “200,000” cases covid19 was either not present, due to false or poor testing, or guessed as the cause based no testing, or just a contributing factor among several causing death of that person counted as a covid19 death.

the actual number of dead from covid19 *alone* or as the “major” factor is probably in the 10K to 40K region.

btw sweden is flat since august for covid cases and has the lowest death rate in europe now. herd immunity achieved.

It’s 210,000 now, but the CDC says that fewer than 10,000 died of COVID, the rest died with COVID and an average of more than 2 risk factors such as over 80, obese, diabetic, COPD, asthma or alzheimers, and 50% of the dead had a risk factor of being over 80, so 200,000 is not in any ballpark.

Just saying.

“Approximately 200,000 dead.”

Don’t be a pinhead!
Only 10% of that caused BY Covid not in association with it.

But a fuller story that opposes the long-term all-ages paranoia includes stats that show,

According to the CDC "best estimates" in COVID-19 Planning Scenario, updated Sept. 10 [https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios.html], the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) is 0.02 percent for 20-to-49-year-olds and 0.5 percent for 50-to-69-year-olds. The estimated IFR for people in their 70s is 11 times the rate for 50-to-69-year-olds, 270 times the rate for 20-to-49-year-olds, and 1,800 times the rate for people younger than 20. In the latter two groups, the estimated IFR is lower than the overall IFR for the seasonal flu.
