Not to be a wet blanket, but if this one requires 3x jabs does that mean protection for only 33 million?
If Phizer has 100 million doses by the end of the year, they we be at a production rate of several million doses per month, from that point on.
Other candidates in Operation Warp Speed (8 total), have been funded by the Federal Government, to produce at similar rates.
The main thing holding them up, is that the approving authority recently adopted a new rule, which (apparently by design) precludes emergency use approval until after the election (mid November). Three main candidates (including Phizer) look to be on track for approval in late November
Oops, I meant they will be producing TENS of millions of doses per month. Each of the 8 candidates were structured to ramp up to that kind of production, that quickly.
