I had an Uncle who lived in Tucson (years ago) who had a car seat cover/insert that had straw inside! It reminded me of one of those woven, folding lawn chairs.
I may be remembering it wrong. They probably don’t make them, anymore. He probably didn’t even have a/c in his car...lol.

The car seats would be to hot to sit on and you needed this to keep from burning your fanny.
