If true why hasn’t the Governor asked Trump to send in the Corps of Engineers?
In reality hospitals can gear-up additional ICU beds fairly quickly. It makes no economic sense most of the time.

I don’t either. I work in a hospital in Ocean County NJ that has more senior citizens living in it than Florida does and we’re no where near full capacity.
