Jim Robinson posted last October, paraphrasing Lincoln's famous tribute to Grant: "We can't spare this man (Trump), he fights!" Watching his incredible energy and enthusiasm on the campaign trail, watching him wage his bare knuckles, fearless battle against all the forces arrayed against him every day, I am literally in awe. I have always accepted the fact that Donald J. Trump is a very imperfect human being. That made it hard to admire him as a person. But his fierce, relentless, unyielding will to do battle (and what a fighter he is!) has won me over to respect, and even love for the man. I still see his flaws, but his loyalty to his supporters (A/K/A patriotic Americans), his willingness to wage political war for us, to sacrifice his body, his mind, his time, his money, his energy, to NEVER give in is something to marvel at and to admire beyond anyone in politics with the sole exception of Lincoln and Reagan. I join all of those of you praying for his welfare and success. Trump, you magnificent leader! We can't spare you!

As long as he's kicking liberal, RINO and GOP-e butt and using his own money to do so, I say go, Trump, GO!!

I'm a Cruz fan and don't see how Trump kicking the crap out of our common foe does us any harm. Let him have at it.

I’ve been using Lincoln’s supposed quip about Grant, as well. To those pi$$ and whine and moan about Trump’s tweets; perhaps you’d like to go back to the relative “civility” of the past where Pubbies were all polite, never fought back, and the RATs still called them vile names on a daily basis.
