What would you think if Trump walked out of the debate and held a rally outside?
If I were Trump, I’d keep doing the rallies, leaving Biden cramming for the debate, then say the day before he won’t do the debate. It keeps Biden in his basement while keeping Trump getting his word out.
That link says “the latest- Trump tells staffers we’re going to win” but the actual article title is something different; says something regarding the debate.
Trump should pantomime his responses by pretending to speak and gestulate but keep silence. That way no one would know whether the mute button was stuck or not stuck and the debate commission would then look like they were sabotaging Trump.
Or better just stand there silently for each of his 2 minutes and let Biden just Jabber and when asked why Trump wasn’t speaking, Trump would reply “I’m told the microphone will be turned off at whatever whim the moderator responds to...so I’m standing here silently and then I’m going to a rally afterward. And then just stand there stoic and proud and silent!
