Unfortunately, this will have zero effect for the election, and if the democrats win, it goes away.

Meanwhile, ATT & Comcast get to shove their politics onto the monopolized subscriber base. Yeah, it’s a big #ing deal.

"and if the democrats win, it goes away."

It can't go away. Remember the DOJ cannot drop charges. Judge Sullivan says so.

Search dominance? How about electoral manipulation on a level Vladimir Putin could only DREAM of? How about CRIMINAL CHARGES?

Bagpipe Bob is letting the tech billionaires steal this election.

Not just search dominance, but whole internet dominance. There are very very few sites world wide that are not directly connected to Google as a third party mining private information, even this one. It is almost as if you cannot own a website without Google connected to it too. Sure would like to see this universal trend and habit end... It really can be done without any dependencies on google at all.

I suspect something is going on with the password entry sections of websites now. In the last couple of months several places I visit I get an error message when I put in the password. And no, I didn’t butch it up. It happened last two nights with a movie channel. The tech at the movie channel had me clear out my cookies and reset my password. My cable e-mail provider has failed the password attempt several times too.

Agreed, but probably the search dominance issue is where DOJ feels Google is most vulnerable legally, and most easily substantiated in a court of law.

That was my thought right there. The password problem is a result of that.

They need to go after Google for the way they essentially killed Windows 10 Mobile by denying that phone operating system various Google services. Microsoft could collect billions in settlement from Google for that.

Here in general, or across the net?

No, not here. Across the net. I noticed a new Google captcha system installed on the movie channel login screen.

Oh yes, the “Google captcha”. I hate that, it is overkill to the max and so user unfriendly that it is actually unproductive for that website it’s self. And it is not always correct. A simple question and answer captcha works just as well for stopping robots.

I don’t get anything from it, no pictures or anything. It’s like it isn’t even turned on. Some of those other websites I mentioned did not even have a captcha system.
