The FBI received the laptop in Dec, 2019. Barr sheepishly said the FBI didn’t look at it right away. This is bureaucratic speak they did not look at it until last week until the New York Post lit a fire under their rear. They had no intention of ever looking at it. Wray is just another bureaucrat picking up his gubmint pay check and he has to go. The only hero in this story is the tenacious blind computer repair guy. He should run the FBI.

That's not an answer. The repair guy said they had a subpoena! The FIB went to a judge and got a subpoena for a laptop that they then have not looked at for 10 months? Bull$hit!

That's not quite right. The FBI, after looking at the copy shop owner John Isaac gave them, came back with a GRAND JURY SUBPOENA to seize the hardware. You don't obtain a Grand Jury Subpoena to seize a laptop unless you know that it contains criminal evidence. They knew, at least partially, what was on the laptop in 2019. Then, it appears someone made the decision to bury it.

The FBI will probably claim they couldn't view the emails because that would be spying on an American citizen, and the photos were insufficient to start an investigation.
