I might have voted for Perot but Perot made it clear to me that he was not in it to win but just to spoil Bush when at the very time it looked like he was unstoppable he sabotaged himself by dropping out for a few weeks. And the reason was obviously BS.

If I had been old enough, I would have voted for Schmitz in 1972 and Anderson in 1976. I actually met segregationist Lester Maddox during the 1976 campaign.

During the Clinton, Bush and Perot race I was a squishy democrat. I was a Teamster at the time and very naive. I happened to see the 60 Minutes interview of Bill and Hillary and the slime dripped from them. It was the first election I voted in and quite frankly in retrospect I chose the least of the evils. Looking back it may have been the best vote I ever made until I pulled the lever for Donald J. Trump.
