Burt Bacharach, taking to the political stage at age 92, is using song, reminiscences and commentary on current events to rally Florida seniors to vote for Joe Biden.

How is he dangerous Burt?
Hes brought peace to the Middle East.
He ushered in one of the largest economies that the US has seen.
He got black unemployment to its lowest levels ever.
He changed crime laws to help black people from being unfairly in prisoner for decades.
How is he dangerous Burt?
I get you hate him - but isnt the real reason you hate him is because you hate America and dont want to see it succeed?
You hate America so much that youll turn it over to communists.
Time for you and your music to be cancelled.
That is fine, I never could stand his sticky/greasy music.
He doesn’t have to like him. It’s about policy, not personality.
Also in that category I think belong "Just The Way You Are" and "Just My Imagination." Probably also "One Hundred Ways."
He’s still alive?
Biden's bringing out the crypt keepers, that's for sure.
Music has been my avocation for most of my life. There is a very pronounced tendency for top shelf pianists, and even composers, to believe they can sing well, while butchering the notes. There are, of course, wonderful exceptions to the rule— Nat Cole, Sara Vaughan, Jerry lee Lewis etc...
Although JR's cover is very, very good...GC's is a 20 on a 10 scale.
The story behind GC's recording "Wichita Lineman" is quite interesting in its own right.
I even loved "MacArthur Park"...including Jimmy Webb's version he did on his album of the songs he wrote.
Just another Zoom wanker!
I remember, even as a kid, cringing when he would sing, and especially when he was doing a duo with someone such as Dionne Warwick. That was a long time ago. I just looked up some of his singing on youtube and I was right.
I’m not that familiar with Sara Vaughan and didn’t know she played the piano. My best memory of her was when I was driving home late one night and was listening to an AM station from Toronto, and this sweet, smooth-as-silk, soothing voice came over the speakers. Just what I needed to hear.
Oh, dear! Is that Burt now??? Why is it that old male celebs always end up looking like women??
Is it all the facelifts??
I was at a Campbell concert years ago, over ten, when he told the crowd he had been informed by some group that follows these things, probably ASCAP or BMI, that “Wichita Lineman” had been played on American radio more than any of his recordings.
I had no idea he was still alive.
Burts father Bert was NY Times Fashion Editor. Safe to say that Burt has been an elitist ever since he was born.
That’s nice Burt. You get to vote for someone else.
The dems are so desperate.
But Do You Know The Way to San Jose?
Ex-wife Angie Dickinson may also support Biden in hopes of picking up where she and JFK left off.
correction: Sara = Sarah
