President calls on Facebook to restore supporters’ page banned days before election

New Jersey Women For Trump was removed without explanation or warning, according to the private group's administrator.

A private Facebook group with nearly 30,000 members was removed without warning or explanation on Saturday, just a few days before the election. The group, New Jersey Women for Trump, has started a new page for now but is reaching out to both Facebook as well as local legislators to see if they can get their page back in time to make an impact on Tuesday.

According to NJ:

On Saturday morning there were more than 29,000 members in a private Facebook group for New Jersey women who support President Trump — and by Saturday afternoon the group was gone.

Priscilla Confrey, co-director of New Jersey Women For Trump, says Facebook did not send her any notifications about the removal or explain why the group was removed. Facebook did not immediately respond to an inquiry from NJ Advance Media about the removal....

The President Tweeted the story, calling on the social media giant to restore the page.

.@Facebook Put them back NOW! https://t.co/eLgs5viXKp

This is very interesting. Why would Facebook do this now?

Trump will not win New Jersey. However, I think this speaks to the panic in the Biden/Deep State campaign.

New Jersey, like many states, has large factions of Conservatives and Trump supporters that are outgunned at the polls by urban hell holes like Jersey City and Trenton.

I was at the Trump rally that he held in Wildwood NJ last January (before all this COVID garbage).

The rally panicked the Democrats and the media. There were thousands and thousands of people that showed up. We were in line almost 12 hours, and we didn't get in.

Trump supporters were lined up in the cold, and the only ones who did get into the arena camped out for nearly 2 days.

When Trump took the stage, he said that "tens of thousands" were still outside - and it was true. We were there.

The Biden campaign is worried that even New Jersey is going to be a lot closer than the fake polls say it will be.

State races like this are poison darts to their strategy to contest the election results for weeks and months afterwards. If Biden barely takes NJ - his narrative is destroyed.

BTW, the Wildwood rally last January didn't just have the massive line that snaked through the cattle barriers.

When we finally left the line (after being told we would never get in by security), we walked back to our car and noticed the line outside the security perimeter went down the street for over 10 to 15 blocks.

This is about voter suppression. I think many on the left fear an electoral college loss, but are hoping to "win" the popular vote to use as leverage in their post election agitprop. This makes Trump turnout more critical than ever, especially in states that are generally assumed will go to Biden (i.e. NJ, CA, MD, etc.)

If President Trump wins not only the electoral vote, but also the popular vote, that removes a big arrow from the left's propaganda quiver.

I’m sure you froze and were frustrated, but hopefully it was somewhat worth it to SEE the opposite of what the MSM tells us and to SEE there are many, MANY like-minded conservatives out there, even in the N.E.!

I’m in Ga. MSM keeps saying it is neck in neck. I do NOT see that! You go outside Atlanta and there are Trump signs all over the state! Sure you see little pockets of Biden signs, but SO MANY lawn signs everywhere for Trump. I saw a ‘UGE’ banner stretched over a driveway that said “Trump 2020. No More Bullsh!t!” :-)

One would think that Facebook would realize that taking down pro-Trump websites energizes the base and makes us more determined to vote for President Trump.

FOUR MORE YEARS!!!!!!

Facebook was supposedly going to limit all political activity within X days before the election. I would like to know how many Voters for Biden FB groups have been deleted.

Let us eliminate Facebook and Twitter after the election. Break them into so many pieces that they cannot affect the next election.

What most people are not seeing is that Trump has a lot longer coat tails than the ‘experts’ realize. Senators and Congressmen will be turned towards the Republicans because of Trump’s tireless work.

Thanks. People were great during that line in the cold in January. All Trump people, all Conservatives. When someone had to get out of line to use one of the porta-Johns, people would part the line and then let them back in no questions asked.

Older folks who were having trouble standing were offered lawn chairs to sit in that other people brought.

Trash was collected in bins, until the bins were full. Even then, people attempted to keep the site clean.

A few blocks away were the anti-Trump protesters. You could hear their bull horns. One our way back to our car, we passed right by them. They were screaming the F word in ever sentence, and intimidating people who walked by them.

Gosh I hope so. I am praying for the President, the Vice President, and this election every single day.

That's as good an explanation as any. Thanks Joe.

Suburban Philly members from PA?

There are some competitive GOP House seats in NJ.

There are.

NJ and CA lost several seats in 2018. Many of them a direct result of the Tax Bill that capped the SALT deduction. I know many people around here want to argue that this was not the case, but it was and it didn't help our cause in 2018.

There were also several House seat the GOP "won" on election night or the next morning, only to see them stolen by the Democrats when boxes of ballots were "found" several days after a "very close election."
