Tensions between France and Turkey continue to escalate. After Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for French President Emmanuel Macron to be sent "for a psychiatric examination following his hatred of Islam" the French president accused Turkey of "imperial aspirations", he said.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Macron attacked Turkey's behavior in the Middle East and described Turkey's intervention in Syria as "a surprise and aggressive act for its NATO allies."

He added that "Ankara has not respected an arms embargo in Libya while taking a very aggressive approach" in the eastern Mediterranean. "I note that Turkey has imperial tendencies in the region, and I think these imperial tendencies are not a good thing for the stability of the region," Macron said.

The French president has accused Turkey of a "warlike attitude towards its NATO allies" and said tensions could ease if his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan showed respect for France and NATO and does not tell lies.

Sacre bleu! He is on the warpath. Almost as aggressive as a waiter who did not get a decent tip from American tourists. Just wait until Turkey gets the strongly worded letter!

Interestingly enough, the West did (temporarily) take Constantinople back from the Muslims. It happened right after WW I. But like so many things back in those days, the West simply did not follow through.

And they exiled him to an island after he surrendered. Charles deGaul was the last Frenchman who had a fully developed pair.

He was arguably the best field general in history.
And even after he was exiled, he escaped twice raised a army and seized power again. It took 3 attempts to finally put him away.
He made France the most powerful country in Europe.
Your original premise does not pass muster.
Napoleon had a pair of big brass ones alright, often overcoming overwhelming odds in the field of battle. DeGaul? Don't make me laugh. He is not even on the same planet as Napoleon.

Whichever. Napoleon wasn’t even French. His first language was Italian, born and raised on Corsica. Bottom line is, the Frenchmen with testicular fortitude are thin on the ground, more the exception, not the rule.

The time is swiftly coming when France must decide just how French they wish to be, or whether they will transform into a Muslim nation, with all their rich culture and tradition discarded and outlawed.

I would not bet on the Muslimization of France, however advanced it has become. Rather, de-Muslimization of France is more likely, and it will happen in brutal fashion.

Germany and other European nations will find themselves at the same crossroads, but, it seems to me, that England and Ireland are lost.

Ireland, especially, is in deep kimchee as Godless secularism, and de-Catholicization, as well as exaltation of homosexuality and abortion, all seem to be too far along and the Soul of Eire too rotted to recover. They have EU’d themselves into oblivion.
